Barkeep started to strap on his keg with the straps designed for a wolf. He may have had to turn into a wolf that night but he was definitely not going to leave his keg of ale behind. He was becoming more feral by the minute, it was going to be dusk in an hour. He sighed, "The new moon comes tonight."

Using Willow Philosen, second down, main character. Willow sat in his office at the top of the Grand library watching... watching, he could not fall asleep that night, he never could when he was really thinking about something... But tonight something was odd, "just the new moon" he chuckled to himself", but he knew that would not be enough to calm his nerves. As he gazed out into the night he looked around the city of NES (this is the name I am going to use to address the city of never ending stories, and where RP's like this start, is this ok with you VG?). There were houses clustered around the grand library, scholars and sages who spent most of their day swimming amongst all of the library's great knowledge as Willow did, and then you could see the back of the"NES Inn" off to one side. And of course the bar, willow had never been their, he didn't really drink and wasn't the mingling type... suddenly he noticed something. He didn't know why it bothered him, probably just someone leaving the bar, suddenly the creature stepped into the light again, it was a great wolf with a keg strapped to its back... Willow immediately knew what it was but he had never seen one like this.

((well actually, and i'm sorry for not clarifying, the inn is on a snowy mountain for travelers to stop by. however, it makes sense for a city to be near it. Though you would not be able to see it in the city, you could probably look out the window and see it's lights or something. Also, RPs can begin wherever the starter wishes. Another thing, it is fine that Barkeep is in the city now, I am going to assume for the sake of the RP that NES is a tolerant place, he was planning to go there anyway. So, enough with my nagging, on to the fun))
Barkeep headed through the streets, following a familiar path. His best brew was on his back tonight, along with a few cups as well as a tip jar. This was all mounted on an amazingly light contraption which his mate had built for him. He waited patiently as a rather short man with an odd red beard filled his own keg with the brew and left a large piece of gold in the tip jar. Barkeep tilted his large head a little bit and let out a small "marf?" but he was grateful nonetheless. He walked further down the path allowing a severely under dressed male fea take one of the courtesy cups and filled it with the famous ale. Barkeep, though somewhat more feral than usual, was controlling himself exceptionally well for a half-wolf. Though the contraption holding it was, the barrel of thick ale was not, so Barkeep walked over to the to the city library that was near him and lied down. He rested his head on his paws.

Willow watched as the half-man walked down the street and set up a stand, this was spectacular, he had never seen a half man control himself (or herself) in this form so well, he had read about some masters capable, and had hoped to meet one of them at a point in his life. It was as if this was meant to happen, thought Willow, so he got on his coat and put it onto his Head Librarian outfit, which he had not taken off, and headed out...

A black cat jumped off of a roof down to the railing of the stairs leading up to the library. He watched the wolf and the man that stepped out of the library intently.
